Here’s what’s new in the world of LA tech:

Laurel & Wolf hosted their first LA DESIGN SUMMIT, bringing together kindred companies such as Minted, Saatchi Art, Tongal, The Noun Project, tokidoki, Nest, Honest Company, One Kings Lane, and many more to discuss a range of subjects, including starting a business, building your communities, focusing on service, and getting the company culture primed for continued growth.

It takes a helluva lot of work to create such an event while running your own startup, so major kudos to Leura Fein and her team for pulling off such a well-run, classy event.

And the kudos continue to EDMUNDS, who hosted their third annual Hackomotive, which drew entrants from across the country to compete for cash prizes and the opportunity to help Edmunds continually innovate their automotive sales platform — full wrap-up here.
