Upon the launch of YouTube’s new music subscription service, the most powerful man in the music industry is threatening to pull 20,000 songs off of YouTube, citing inadequate underlying deals for the compositions managed by Azoff’s publishing company, Global Music Rights.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, artists affected include The Eagles, Pharrell Williams, Boston, Foreigner, John Lennon, Smokey Robinson, Chris Cornell, and George & Ira Gershwin.
