EXPERT DOJO is launching its Q2 Investor Festival this Thursday and Friday, in which member startups gain a live audience with area Angels, Accelerators, and Venture Firms.
Day One begins with Expert DOJO founder Brian Mac Mahon conducting a pitch training session, followed by live pitches to famed accelerator Techstars for consideration in their next program.
Throughout the day, Expert DOJO members will be pitching their ideas to three active Angels, as well as CrossCut Ventures, CAA Ventures, and Fund 21, a new Venture Firm based in Indonesia.
Female entrepreneurs should especially love this as, Fund 21’s Jenny Q Ta will be listening to pitches to find final contenders for either a Skype or physical visit to Jakarta to pitch for a Series A round.
Says Expert DOJO founder Brian MacMahon, “We are totally focused on getting startups funded or smarter about what funding is needed. That’s the only reason we do these events.”
The Q2 Investor Festival follows the success of previous Investor Festivals, which have drawn panelists and public speaking engagements from the likes of Paige Craig (Arena VC), Suzy Ryoo (Smashd Labs), and more.
Day Two will give members an opportunity to connect with over thirty investors during Mentoring Day, including members of Start Engine, Lux Capital, Watertower Group, Midstage Ventures, LAVA, Tech Coast Venture Network, Canyon Creek Capital, and dozens more.
Each startup will be able to choose up to three mentors to meet with for 7-minute sessions each.
Expert DOJO started these pay it forward events years ago to help its member startups gain the knowledge and connections to grow their businesses.
This event is for Expert DOJO Academy Members only. For more details, hop on over to Expert DOJO’s event page.
