Woke up his morning to news that Live Nation executives Eric Garland and Ethan Kaplan have left the company amidst a restructuring of it Labs division. According to the Hypebot article, Garland & Kaplan’s contracts were up, and most of the division has been reassigned to Ticketmaster.

Garland came on board via Live Nation’s 2011 acquisition of Big Champagne, the music data company Garland founded with Joe Fleischer in the early 2000. Kaplan joined Live Nation Labs following a very influential stint at Warner Brothers. Both are super smart and highly regarded throughout the entertainment and tech industries.
