DIYGirls, which offers afterschool programs, summer camps and workshops to girls in LA, had their very first social at Cross Campus on Thursday night, in order to raise funds for the organization and help spread the word about the org.
“Girls wearing safety goggles, holding a soldering iron, programming a video game, or building with a 3D printer are images too rarely seen but DIY Girls is changing this!” Learn more about DIYGirls here.
In addition to a silent auction and drink demos from Johnnie Walker (score!), the event had some serious lines for Oculus and drone demos.
